Look at the chart and say the colour not the word

Your right brain tries to say the colour but your left brain insists on reading the word.

It's not _that_ hard.  I guess it would be a bit harder if the words were in Portuguese, though.

 This is called a Stroop Effect.

 It is a demonstration of the interference on the reaction time of a consciously performed task by a subconscious one. It was first describe in 1935.

 And yes, you should feel the effect properly if the task is designed in your native language.
